Malaga |
||||||||||||||||||||
| Malaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and has remained as a cosmopolitan port city since the Roman times - parts of the Roman amphitheatre still exist. A place to visit in Malaga is the cathedral, begun in 1528 on the site of a Mosque. It took 250 years to build, and is known locally as ‘La Manquita’ meaning ‘one-armed lady’ because whilst the North tower is 330ft high, the twin tower is just a stump. It is also known for its beautiful stained-glass window. Back to map... |
